How it all works.
Here’s what to expect with a typical home organization project.
1. CONSULT
We’ll discuss your organizing needs and identify your goals, habits, and preferences. When we know what your needs and space limitations are, we come up with a personalized plan detailing what we are going to do, how we are going to do it, and how long it will take.
2. SORT
We take it ALL out and group similar items so we can see what and how much you have. You don’t even have to be involved in this part of the process; we can sort it all for you!
3. EDIT
We gently guide your decision-making process about what stays and what needs to be donated, discarded, or recycled. We’re happy to drop off and provide a charitable tax receipt.
4. CONTAIN
Simple systems are more effective when things are properly contained and labeled. We’ll repurpose or source lifestyle-enhancing containers. (Ask about our discount at The Container Store®!)
5. LABEL
We believe no organization system is complete without a proper label. We hope you agree! Sorted Shelf offers simple and custom labels.
6. MAINTAIN
We teach you sustainability tips and techniques—specifically for your space and habits. Regular maintenance appointments ensure your new systems continue to work.
What’s the cost?
Sorted Shelf charges:
$80/hour for one organizer.
$150/hour for two organizers.
$210/hour for three or more organizers.
Shopping services are provided at the hourly rate.
